Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, accessing or using the ResidenC platform, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Description of Service
ResidenC is a platform for residential buildings and their stakeholders (residents, guards, management, vendors) to coordinate visitor access, payments, incidents, facility bookings and community announcements.
User Accounts
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use ResidenC only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights, restrict or inhibit anyone else's use of the service. In particular, you agree not to:
Impersonate another resident, staff member or third party; upload malware, spam or illegal content; attempt to reverse-engineer or disrupt the platform; or misuse the visitor, SOS or emergency features.
Fees and Payments
Some features of ResidenC are subject to subscription fees paid by the building management. Individual residents may pay for service charges, facility bookings and other billable items through the platform. All payments are processed by licensed payment providers.
Subscription plans (Free, Plus and Complete) and their respective features are described on our pricing page. Plan limits and feature availability may change with prior notice.
Intellectual Property
All content on the ResidenC platform (excluding content you submit) — including software, text, graphics and logos — is owned by ResidenC or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, modify or distribute it without written permission.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to ResidenC if you materially breach these Terms. You may close your account at any time from the settings screen; upon closure, your data will be handled in line with our Privacy Policy.
Limitation of Liability
ResidenC is provided on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the platform. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
Dispute Resolution
We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any dispute informally. If the dispute cannot be resolved, it will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified in-app or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
